Nigeria is groaning under deep insecurity, and silence will not save us. As Christians, we are called not only to pray but to boldly speak the truth. Prayer without truth loses its power, but when we confront injustice and refuse to hide reality, our prayers rise with strength.

Like in the days of Elijah, when truth was declared and God answered by fire, so must it be now. Let the Church rise—both in prayer and in truth—so that our cries ascend as a sweet-smelling savor and bring swift answers to our land.
